Meet the Artist
In 2016, Kathryn, who is also referred to as Kat, made the significant decision to expand her long-standing career path in healthcare by embarking on the transformative journey of Cosmetic and Paramedical Tattooing. Her artistry, keen eye for detail and compassion for others facilitated an easy transition.
Her deep interest in Areola Restoration was driven by a genuine desire to help those who are suffering from the devastating effects of cancer. Having to endure the painful loss of not just one, but two, very close loved ones to breast cancer. This experience influenced her profoundly, making this career path the most obvious and meaningful choice for her.
Kat’s roots lie deeply in the Bay Area. Born and raised in the vibrant and culturally rich city of San Francisco has shaped her beliefs of acceptance of diverse perspectives, experiences, and lifestyles. With a sense of pride and determination, she opened her own studio in 2017, establishing it as one of the first of its kind in the East Bay.
Kathryn began her career being trained and certified in Microblading by the world-renowned PhiAcademy and Beauty Angels Academy. Ensuring she possesses the highest level of expertise, Kat is dedicated to remaining highly skilled and consistently up-to-date on the latest techniques, trends, and procedures within the field. In addition, she holds multiple Master certifications in advanced Micropigmentation techniques. This underscores her unwavering commitment to excellence in her field and highlights her dedication to continuous professional development. She is certified by some of the most well-known and highly talented professionals in the industry, which speaks volumes about her qualifications and expertise.
Specializing in restorative and corrective work is her passion. This is undeniably challenging and demanding, requiring not only a high level of skill but also immense patience and persistence. This skill pushes her to continuously improve her techniques while adapting to the unique needs of each individual case.
Kathryn, herself, is also an experienced educator and a dedicated mentor, passionately guiding new artists as well as those who are eager to enter the rewarding field of Permanent Makeup (PMU).
I proudly and humbly offer eyebrow services to those that are suffering from alopecia and cancer.
Unfortunately cancer has affected my life in a profound way.
Unfortunately I lost my mother to breast cancer when I was young, and in 2014 I lost my best friend to breast cancer as well.
I began my career in Micropigmentation, with the focus on Areola Restoration.
My hope is to give those fighting cancer a small piece of themselves back.
I feel so honored to serve the community and help relieve a small portion of cancer's impact.
What is the cost?
Nothing. You pay with a smile 😊
I offer complimentary eyebrow services to women that are about to embark on their cancer journey and begin chemotherapy. It is recommended that you get your eyebrows tattooed at least two weeks before treatment as to give your body enough time to heal. If this is impossible and treatment is imminent, an eyebrow service can be performed anytime before your first day of treatment.
If time is a concern, please contact me immediately by text message.
The initial eyebrow treatment and touch-up are included in this offer.
If you have recently been diagnosed with cancer and would like to get your eyebrows done before you begin active treatment, feel free to contact me.
Physician's note is required.
I also offer my eyebrow services at a deeply discounted rate to cancer survivors that have completed their chemotherapy treatment and those who suffer from Alopecia.
You must have completed treatment a minimum of 12 weeks prior.

What is Cosmetic Tattooing?
Cosmetic Tattooing, also known as Permanent Makeup (PMU) or Micropigmentation, is a form of tattooing, used to enhance facial features by depositing pigment (ink) into the upper layer of the dermis. Cosmetic tattooing is revolutionizing the traditional world of makeup. It consists of a many types of eyebrow enhancing procedures, including Microblading, (Ombre) Powder Brows, Machine Hairstrokes, AKA Nano Brows, as well as Eyeliner, Lip Blush and Scalp Micropigmentation or Hair Density Fill.
Permanent Cosmetics allows busy people to look their best at all times, enhancing one's natural beauty and accentuating areas that may have been, at one time or another, a mental and physical burden. When applied by a skilled professional, Permanent Cosmetics and Microblading can boost your self-esteem as well as simplify your life. PMU is perfect for both men and women of all ages and ethnicities. It's the perfect alternative for those with allergies, those with vision loss, and people who don't have the time apply makeup every day.
What is Paramedical Tattooing?
Paramedical Tattoos can be used to disguise scars that are lighter than your natural skin tone and at least 12-18 months old. This includes hypo-pigmented accidental scars such as those caused by injury, surgery scars following procedures like facelift, c-section, or abdominoplasty, and also self-inflicted scars for those who’d like to put a difficult past behind them. The appearance of stretch marks can also be improved using inkless techniques that prove to be very beneficial in improving the appearance of larger stretchmarks and hyper-pigmented scars.
Areola Restoration is beneficial for those who have completed gender reassignment surgery, those who have had a breast reduction or augmentation or who would like to adjust the color of the areola, and people who have had a mastectomy after breast cancer. It is often the final step of the journey for most.
Scalp Miicropigmentation or Hair Density Fill is a procedure for both men and women who are insecure about their female or male pattern hair loss. It can help fill sparse areas on the scalp as well as create a hairline for those who have lost their hair and wear a bald or close-shaved haircut.
